Why Direct Access

Direct access offers patients the ability to go to physical therapy without a prescription from their primary care physician. You may be concerned that bypassing your physician is unwise for your health, but that is not true. Dr. Svetlana and many other PT's are all doctorate-level medical professionals whose training and education makes them more than qualified to not only conduct initial evaluations, but also to recognize when a patient’s medical needs fall outside of their practice scope. The purpose of direct access is to expedite the process and allow early intervention to an injury.

Out of Pocket

Out of Pocket treatment gives the patient and thier treatment plan more independence and more time devoted to early intervention.  It can also be cost effective by avoiding unnecessary x-rays and and MRI's. PT's will stay in communication with your primary care physician to make sure you are getting the appropriate care you need. Dr. Sevetlana is very willing to help patients achieve their goals physically and financially.

"Dr. Svetlana Kotlin has been providing physical therapy services for my family for over two years. My teenaged daughter had been suffering with acute bone and joint pain, dizziness and fatigue for almost three years. I had taken her to her primary doctor, a pediatric cardiologist and a rheumatoid specialist, all of whom could neither diagnose or treat her condition. My daughter underwent countless tests (blood, thyroid, heart, etc.), appointments and consultations, all to no avail. She is a ballet dancer, and at times was too ill and in pain to attend her dance class. We were at the point of giving up all hope that she would be able to have her condition diagnosed and treated."
